Randburg was established in 1959 as a municipality for 13 Northern Suburbs. Randburg comprises of approximately 40 suburbs today.

Randburg is easily accessible with easy access to the North South East and West by way of major freeways. Johannesburg Central International Airport is app. 30 minutes drive. Additional airport in close proximity is Lanseria Airport and Grand Central in the east.
